Restaurants on Bald Head Island

There are plenty of excellent Bald Head Island Restaurants. From old-fashioned seafood to fine dining, you’ll find the perfect dining experience on the island. Here are a few to consider: Mojo’s on the Harbor, Delphina Cantina, Old Baldy, and JULES.

Mojo’s on the Harbor

One of the more unique experiences on Bald Head Island is dining at Mojos on the Harbor. The restaurant is located on the water and has a wall covered in dollar bills from around the world. The wall came about after a local patron, Brooke Williams, donated a dollar bill to the restaurant. She was a frequent visitor and became a friend of the owners. After her diagnosis, the wall became even more meaningful, as guests would add their own dollar bills to the collection.

A full bar is available and a kids’ menu is available. It’s also said to offer a reasonable price. The restaurant’s ambiance and decor are also pleasant. However, it has received a below-average Zomato rating. It’s a great place to have a meal with your family.

Mojo’s on the Harbor is located near the Smith Island Museum. The food here is mouth-watering. The menu features fish tacos, but, and sweet fries. There’s also a great key lime pie and a variety of other delicious dishes. For dessert, you’ll find a variety of homemade brioches, as well as a great iced tea.

Delphina Cantina

Delphina Cantina is a popular Mexican and Cuban eatery located on Smith Island. It has a nice outdoor patio and serves excellent food. The menu features a wide variety of Mexican and Cuban dishes as well as sandwiches, burgers, ice cream, and more. The service is friendly and professional. It also offers a wide selection of drinks. The restaurant has received excellent reviews from guests and has earned a Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor.

Delphina’s menu is still in development, but expect Latin American, Spanish, and Mexican comfort food. The menu will also feature homemade desserts. The restaurant is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily and serves Java Estate Roasters coffee and a variety of fresh pastries. Delphina can be found at the marina and near the Sandpiper Coffee Shop. The restaurant will also have an ice cream parlor.

If you’re looking for a casual dinner or a romantic dinner, there are plenty of options at Bald Head Island Restaurant. There are restaurants with poolside or beachside settings, and casual, and fine dining. Each one has a website where you can see menus, hours of operation, and contact information.

If you’re looking for a casual Mexican restaurant in a laid-back setting, Delphina Cantina is a great choice. Its patio offers great views of the ocean and sunset. The food here isn’t of the 5-star variety, but it’s delicious and fresh.

If you’re looking for a waterfront restaurant on Bald Head Island, look no further than Julies’ Salty Grub & Island Pub. This beachside establishment offers both indoor and outdoor dining and sometimes even has entertainment. It is known for its Southern coastal pub food, including fresh seafood.

Located in a former marina, JULES is a waterfront dining experience. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating and even offers a rooftop deck. Enjoy fresh seafood and Southern-style coastal pub food while taking in the scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean. During the off-season, hours of operation are reduced, but dining is available year-round.

The menu at Jules includes a variety of appetizers and entrees. A variety of beer, wine, and cocktails are available to accompany the delicious seafood. Other options include sandwiches and burgers. The restaurant’s friendly atmosphere makes it a great spot for a family meal.

Old Baldy

The Old Baldy restaurant on Bald Head Island serves the local cuisine of the area. Old Baldy, also known as the Bald Head Lighthouse, is one of the two oldest lighthouses in North Carolina. It was built to help guide ships past the shoals of the Cape Fear river.

This island landmark offers panoramic views of the entire island from its 360-degree vantage point. The Old Baldy foundation has been actively engaging in preserving and educating visitors about the history of the region. The restaurant and grounds have become an icon of Bald Head Island, the region, and the State of North Carolina. More than 28,000 people visit Old Baldy each year. Of those visitors, about 50% come for one day.

The Old Baldy Lighthouse is a must-see for anyone visiting the island. It has a rich history and is unique among lighthouses in this region. A visit to the lighthouse is an excellent way to learn about the local history and enjoy the breathtaking view from the top.

Bald Head Island is home to some of the island’s most popular restaurants. Delphina Coastal Cuisine serves a variety of cuisines, and Jules’ Salty Grub and Island Pub is a waterfront restaurant right on the marina. Both restaurants offer specialty cocktails and fresh seafood. You can also grab a snack at Sandpiper Coffee and Ice Cream in the Maritime Market.

Old Baldy is North Carolina’s oldest standing lighthouse. It was first illuminated in 1817 and served as a landmark for maritime sailors. It’s 110 feet tall and offers the most amazing views. You’ll have to climb 108 steps to reach the top, but the views are worth it.

Located on the west side of Bald Head Island, Old Baldy was once the home of a lighthouse keeper. The first keeper’s cottage was destroyed by erosion, but it was rebuilt shortly afterward. The second keeper’s cottage was destroyed by fire, and a larger two-story structure was built in its place. It is destroyed again in a fire in 1931, and a museum was built there in its place.

While you’re on Bald Head Island, make sure you take the time to explore all the island’s amenities. There are golf courses, tennis courts, croquet courts, and a number of other activities. Golfers will love the 18-hole course at the Bald Head Island Club, and the club offers golf packages and vacation rentals.
